You must be the change you want to see in the world - Ghandi

As a Registered Nurse for over 20 years Dawn has divided her nursing experiences between reactive and proactive medicine.  Her first 10 years were focused on the reactive needs of "critical care" nursing from the Intensive Care Unit to Emergency Room experience at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington VT.  Then moving to the level one emergency room and flight team experience of  Albany Medical Center, Albany NY and Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte NC.

In her years of reactive medicine Dawn had a drawing towards the proactive aspects of health.  After receiving her Masters Degree in Nursing, with a core in Business. Dawn moved onto "Wellness".  Wellness, is a simple phrase that encompasses many aspects of proactive care and Dawn has expanded her wellness path to include massage therapy, bowen therapy, JuicePlus+ and Yoga.

Outside of her health focus Dawn has followed her equestrian passion.  For the past 28 years, Dawn has had a horse, or two, in her life from Thoroughbreds to Warmbloods.  With each horse Dawn has drawn out the best of their abilities.  Recently, Dawn has partnered with her current horse to Fourth Level Dressage.  Understanding the amount of training that must be completed to reach this level, Dawn wanted to ensure that her relationship with her horse was as strong as he is.  This has taken Dawn down the natural horsemanship path following the Parelli methodology.  Here too, Dawn and her horse have gone a long way earning their Level 1 Red String, Level 2 Blue String, Level 3 Green String and progressing on toward the Black String of Level 4. Dawn is blessed with her supportive husband of 14 years.  In March of 2008 Dawn and Michael celebrated the birth of their daughter Emma Rose and are looking forward to the joys she will bring to their lives.
